Training on Conflict Management and Mediation

Georgian Center for Strategy and Development (GCSD) organized training on Conflict Management and Mediation for the representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia. The training covered topics, such as: The concept of conflict and management methods, the role of the mediation, the negotiation process, etc.

 

Community Oriented Police officers, representatives of the Patrol Police Department and the Migration Department attended the trainings. The training included both theoretical and practical exercises.

 

The training was held within the framework of the project - "Building Trust and Confidence between Police and Society", which is implemented by GCSD with the support of the Embassy of the Netherlands in Georgia.

The project has been implemented since 2018 in close cooperation with the Department of International Relations of MIA. The project aims to promote the development of the community-oriented police officer Institute.
