New Project - Enhancing the Capacity of Georgia in preventing violent extremism (VE) and radicalization

With the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway, GCSD has launched a four-year multi-layered programme - Enhancing the Capacity of Georgia in preventing violent extremism (VE) and radicalization.

The project aims to strengthen the capacity of Georgia to prevent all forms of VE and radicalization as well as increase the resilience of society against those phenomena. Throughout the project our team will engage multitude of stake holders including: state institutions, local CSOs, media and academia.

The project will create sustainable knowledge for all relevant institutions and through the sub-granting mechanism empower local civil society organizations to implement projects aimed to understand and reduce the threat of VE and radicalization.

Detailed information about the project will soon be updated on out web-page.
