The Georgian Center for Strategy and Development (GCSD) issued a second sub-grant in the framework of the project “Enhancing the Capacity of Georgia in Preventing Violent Extremism and Radicalization”.
The grant was awarded to "Democracy Laboratory". The project, which will be implemented over the next year, aims to raise awareness, develop skills and build the capacity of young people living in the Pankisi Valley through digital activation and distance employment.
Within the framework of the project, training programs are planned in partner organisations on the following topics:
- Text writing and storytelling;
- Web development;
- Social media management and digital marketing;
- Data analysis and visualisation;
- Management / Self-employment / Activism and Advocacy;
- Digital and media literacy.
A total of 60 young people will take part in the project.
The project - “Enhancing the capacity of Georgia in Preventing Violent Extremism and Radicalization” is implemented by GCSD with the financial support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway.
