Training for the regional representatives of the State Employment Promotion Agency

On June 5 and 6, the Georgian Center for Strategy and Development (GCSD) organized a two-day training in Borjomi. The purpose of the training was to promote the successful involvement of people with socially vulnerable status in the Micro and Small Business Support Program of Enterprise Georgia.

The training was intended for the regional representatives of the State Employment Promotion Agency and meant equipping them with appropriate communication skills, which will contribute to the successful participation of persons with socially vulnerable status who have passed the interview stage in the Micro and Small Business Support Program.

During the training, the participants became better acquainted with the content of the Micro and Small Business Support Program of the "Enterprise Georgia" agency, effective and hindering communication factors, the process of the interview stage in the program, the specifics of preparing the beneficiaries for the interview and the difficulties of telephone consultation. 

The training was held within the framework of the project "Improving Access of Socially Vulnerable Groups to Grant Opportunities”, which GCSD implements with the support of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation and "SwissContact", within the framework of the "Rural SMEs Development Project".
