Trainings on communication issues were conducted for Tbilisi Police and Patrol Police Departments of the MIA

A training cycle for the representatives of Tbilisi Police (COP) and Patrol Police Departments of the Ministry of the Internal Affairs of Georgia, organized by Georgian Center for Strategy and Development (GCSD) was held.

 

The participants of the training got acquainted with aspects of effective communication, practical communication techniques, the use of communication skills, etc.

 

Thirty-two Community Oriented Police (COP) officers and eight Patrol Police Department co-workers attended the training.

 

The training cycle was conducted within the framework of the project - “Building Trust and Confidence between Police and Society”. The project has been running by GCSD since 2018 in close relationship with the International Relations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and with the support of the Embassy of the Netherlands in Georgia. It aims to enhance the institutional development of Community Oriented Police.
